Another concept is an Errand Service. Tell me who hasn't ran an errand for their own mother or grandmother?? You know how easy that was?? Someone, somewhere is definitely in need of this service, I can guarantee you! Now, I don't want you to go and pound on some little old lady's door, whom you have never met, of course. But, rather get the word out at local churches, pharmacy's, doctor's, etc. Let them know you are offering a beneficial service all while maintaining the highest level of trust.

Laundry anyone? I know of a lady who, not only was a stay at home mom, but she also did working mother's laundry. They dropped it off, she washed, dried and ironed the clothes, and they picked it up after work.

A spin-off of babysitting- An after school advisor. What is that? Simple, you make sure the neighbor's children get off the bus and home safely. You could take it further by making sure they are fed and doing home work, if necessary.

The point is, there is lots of things a person in need of extra money can do. It doesn't have to be anything complicated. Computer jobs are a bit overrated and not as much fun as you all might want to believe. I tried transcription- at one point, I owned my own company. Too much for me.

I felt compelled to write a post about how great Swagbucks is. I'd also like to explain it in detail for those of you who are unfamiliar with how it works. First and foremost, I'd like you to run over there and sign up. Why? Well two reasons, 1) I'd like you to use my referral link so that I get credit for everything you do and 2) I'd like you to see how easy it is to accumulate points just by using Swagbucks as your search page. You can use this page just like you would Google or Yahoo. It's that easy. Only every once in awhile, (mostly three times a day), you are awarded with points. You can use these points on a variety of merchandise--- makeup, gift cards, even Paypal cash if you'd like. 1) Decorate the Interior of Homes- let's face it, not everyone is in the Christmas decorating spirit. If you love to decorate, why not get paid to do so?!

2) Put up outdoor Christmas lights and decorations- I've actually heard this advertised a lot this year on the radio. There are several local guys making this a business right now. Clever!!

3) Shop for Someone- I know I posted this a while back, but you can really have fun with this! There are people that don't like to get out in the cold, crowds and just don't have the time. Get referrals from your local Church or other organizations. (Play fair though....remember, you are doing a service for someone who is trusting you)

4) Shovel Snow/ Clean off Cars

5) Park Cars- talk to your local malls and department stores and see if they mind you offering this service to their customers.

6) Wrap Gifts- I know this is something I absolutely HATE to do. If you enjoy it, why not get paid to do it?!

Well, as I have written in the past, you should never pay to get a job. That doesn't include a business. In order to start a business, or buy into a franchise, you have to pay some type of money. One of the most confusing jobs out there is Mystery Shopping.
